Builder, investor, and creative thinker. Insights into the world of emerging tech.
Nathan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Infinite Capital, a future tech investment firm with a successful record of prescience.
Nathan began his entrepreneurial career founding Codewars.com, a free educational platform for software developers, and Qualified.io, a technical skill-assessment platform, that were acquired by Andela.
During this time Nathan became heavily involved in decentralized networks, where Infinite was established to invest across nascent categories, from DeFi to Stablecoins. In the process Infinite has been first checks and active supporters of many foundational projects across the ecosystem.
Infinite has also developed a deep tech venture practice across aerospace, electric propulsion, autonomy, AI, compute, and satellites. Beyond this as an angel investor, Nathan also invests across fintech, education, and resilient systems. Nathan has given a TEDx presentation, is a Global Impact Fellow at the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, and has spoken at a range of events from ASUGSV to Davos.
Nathan Doctor was also Co-Founder and CEO of Qualified.io, a leading platform for assessing technical skills that brings meritocratic hiring, credentialing and skills development to companies including Apple, Zoom and Facebook. The company also built the free educational community, Codewars.com, where over 3,000,000 software developers globally train their coding skills. The platform was built on the concept of self-directed study, where experienced devs choose their challenge trajectory in a non-linear path. Prior to his tech journey he completed a B.S. in Architecture and B.S. in Business Admin at University of Southern California (USC), where he founded an architecture non-profit that designed and built infrastructure in Central America.
