Nathan is the Founder of Infinite Capital, an early crypto firm involved with many of the ecosystem’s networks. Nathan began his journey after founding Codewars.com, a free educational platform for software developers. During this time his firm formalized to support and invest across the nascent DeFi and Web3 sectors. In the process they have been first checks and active supporters of many foundational projects across the crypto ecosystem. Infinite has also developed a deep tech venture practice across electric vehicles, autonomy, and aerospace. Beyond this as an angel investor, Nathan also focuses on fintech, education, and impact. Nathan has given a TEDx presentation, is a Global Impact Fellow at the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, and has spoken at a range of events from ASUGSV to Davos.
Nathan Doctor is also Co-Founder of Qualified.io, a leading platform for assessing technical skills that brings meritocratic hiring to companies including Apple, Zoom and Facebook. The company also built the free educational community, Codewars.com, where over 3,000,000 software developers globally train their coding skills. Before that he studied Architecture, and founded a non-profit that designed and built infrastructure in Central America.
Through photography, Nathan uses the camera as a medium to display the magnificence of our earth’s natural environment and people. It is a way to immortalize the beauty around us and emphasize that which goes unnoticed. His photographs have sold at art galleries and into collections internationally.
As a visual artist Nathan utilizes ink and spray paint. His work is characterized by dynamic images that often incorporate fluid organic forms, betraying the spontaneity of the process.
